Sunday School

Current educational research shows that children as young as two-years of age can benefit and grow in a Sunday School environment, and so we offer Sunday school from ages 2 - 102! We also have a nursery that is well-staffed to care for your little ones from birth through 5 years of age. We currently provide Christian education for over 300 children in our Sunday School program using Cokesbury's Rock Solid curriculum. We are serious about providing biblical education to our young persons and providing for their safety; therefore, all of our classes are team-taught by committed adult United Methodist Christians under the guidance and leadership of our Director of Children's Ministries, Carolyn Knight, and our Children's Council. Sunday School follows the public school calendar from September through May. Come and join us on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45am!

Summer Camps

In the Dakotas UM Conference we are blessed to have three church camp facilties:

• Lake Poinsett Camp near Watertown, SD
• Storm Mountain Center near Rockerville, SD
• Wesley Acres near Valley City, ND

We know that the summer Bible camp experience is incredibly formative; indeed, many of our pastors have received their call into full time ordained ministry at a summer camp. Because of this, our church pays half the tuition for any of our young persons desiring to go to a program at one of our three camp sites, and for those whom the remaining balance would be an undue financial burden, full scholarships are available. Christian camping is not only a wildly fun time away from home, but it is also an intense immersion in Christian community and discipleship training.
